Bunche Middle School

The newly renovated Bunche Middle School facility consists of a new auditorium, gymnasium, academic and support spaces, and a renovated and relocated kitchen and cafeteria. Students are now able to enjoy a new natural grass football field that is used for soccer and lacrosse teams. Additionally, the middle school received a new 400 meter track, a new softball field, and reconfigured parking, drop-off and bus areas.

At the main entrance to school the building features two (2) large extruded aluminum canopies constructed from custom “column cluster” and custom support framing. The marquee eyebrow at the entrance is enhanced further by Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) metal wall and soffits panels. Throughout the project ACM panels are used to wrap parapets, accent window headers and windows at the clerestory.
