JJ, WE WISH YOU WELL — THANKS SO MUCH!

The entire staff at Peachtree would like to congratulate Jeff Johnson (JJ) on his upcoming retirement.  Jeff joined the team at Peachtree Protective Covers in June of 2002 after his former employer relocated.  He learned early on that we share a strong sense of teamwork and comradery here at Peachtree and really enjoyed being an integral part of the team.  Jeff has played an important role in Peachtree’s engineering department working as a fabrication detailer.  His day-to-day activities include the formulation of job specific fabrication instructions for use by Peachtree’s production group, checking the fabrication packages and material cut lists of other fab detailers and troubleshooting issues with field installation crews.

When we asked Jeff to provide some of his most memorable moments at Peachtree; he indicated that “One of my fondest memories was learning from the guys that were here when I arrived.  The knowledge that they were so willing to share and their patience in getting me up to speed meant so much to me.  It was evident that working as a team to accomplish the task at hand was always everybody’s goal.  Being a part of a true team is very rewarding and when I see pictures from the jobs that I’ve worked on, it makes me feel good to know that I had a small part in making it happen.” According to Jeff, “Another great memory was getting to share my knowledge with our more recent hires. Taking a leadership role and leading group training sessions was a way that I was able to give back to the next generation of detailers.  It was definitely rewarding to be able to lend a hand in this regard.”

Jeff’s future plans call for he and Mary, his wife, to take to the wind and travel to all those places they’ve always dreamed of seeing, spending more time fishing, refining his guitar skills and working diligently on his golf game.  The entire staff here at Peachtree Protective Covers would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Jeff for all of his hard work and support over the years and wish him the best of luck in retirement.
