The new training barracks complex at Fort Benning was developed on two sites totaling 182 acres and included Brigade Hqs, Battalion Hqs, a consolidated Battalion Dining Facility and Company Operations Facilities, all of which called for covered outdoor dining and entrance canopies of varying sizes.

The barrel vault dining canopy consists of eight (8) separate 83′ long by 32′ wide covered areas each with five (5) 4′-2″ deep bow trusses spanning 30′-0″.
A 2-coat Kynar in Valspar’s standard Hunter Green color on the Deck and Fascia and a custom Country Wheat color on the columns, beams and trusses.
