University Hospital – McDuffie
Built on a 40-acre site near a major interstate, this $30M hospital was constructed to replace an aging facility in downtown Thomson and to provide a more accessible center for high quality health services for the surrounding communities. The 25 bed facility can be expanded to a capacity of 100 beds.
Piedmont Technical College
This adaptive reuse project converted an abandoned “big box” retail site, a former Walmart store, into a state-of-the-art allied health training facility for Piedmont Technical College. The renovation creates a welcoming facility with a collegiate look and feel, serving students, educators and the wider community.
